Naarm Consulting Pty Ltd, ("Naarm Consulting", "we" or "us") provides this Privacy Policy to inform users of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information received or collected from users of this website, located at www.naarm.consulting ("Website"). This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason; each version will apply to information collected while it was in place. We will notify you of any material changes to our Privacy Policy through a pop-up notification, asking you to renew your consent. 

When you check the consent box at the time of sign-up, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now. "Processing" includes the collection of your information and app-usage information, and storing, deleting, using, combining and analysing permitted, anonymised data to improve app functionality. 

If you reside outside Australia, your personally identifiable information, if any, will be transferred to Australia, and processed and stored there under Australian privacy standards. When you consent to our privacy policy, you consent to such transfer to and processing in Australia.

THE NAARM CONSULTING PROMISE

  1. Collection: We love and abide by the principle of Data-minimisation. This simply means that we collect only that which is necessary for us to deliver our services. We hope this relieves you of the anxiety that usually accompanies trusting a digital business with your private and intimate information.

  2. Security: At Naarm Consulting, safeguarding your personal data is a top priority. We adhere to widely-accepted industry standards to ensure that any personal data you provide us is protected during transmission and after it has been received.   3. Storage. Naarm Consulting may limit the amount of data that the Customer stores in Naarm Consulting, and shall advise the Customer of such. Data that is stored with Naarm Consulting shall be stored according to accepted industry standards.

  4. Backup. Naarm Consulting shall perform backups of its entire systems in a reasonable manner at such times and intervals as is reasonable and practicable for its business purposes. 

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Our primary commitment to you is that we do not collect more than is necessary to enable you to get the most out of our app.

At the time of signing-up

We collect the information you provide at the time of sign-up. This includes information relating to your gender, sexual identity, your age, your comfort level and confidence in seeking consent and asking for pleasure. Please be assured that this information is deanonymized and is only collected and stored for research purposes. 

Information Collected Upon Visiting

When you visit the Applications, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type or the domain from which you are visiting, to understand how our app functions on or interacts with various applications. For most users accessing the Internet from an Internet service provider the IP address will be different every time you log on. We use Log Data to monitor the use of the Applications and of our Service, and for the Application's technical administration. This is simply to improve our services, and not to collect bbehavioural data.

Our Applications contain links to other websites. The fact that we link to a website is not an endorsement, authorisation or representation of our affiliation with that third party. We do not exercise control over third-party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personally identifiable information from you. Other sites follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personally identifiable information you submit to them. What do we collect?

Personally identifiable information that we may collect in such instances may include your full name, email address, mobile phone number for text messages, photographs, or other information that you decide to provide us with, or that you decide to include in your public profile. 

We also collect identifiable sensitive personal information if you wish to sign up to receive Naarm Consulting counselling services, to be able to match you with the right counsellor. This information will not be shared with any third party. This will not be used for marketing or advertising purposes.  We will store this securely, and process this to find you the right counsellor match. 

You may delete your data anytime by lodging a request under naarm.consulting/contact-us and select Right To Be Forgotten.

Survey

We may also collect information if you participate in surveys conducted by or on behalf of us or our partner companies and researchers, including but not limited to questionnaires, telephone interviews and/or discussion groups, and otherwise providing general information about the Naarm Consulting service.

Anonymous Data

We may create Anonymous Data records from information collected from you (such as information contained in a Service Request) by excluding information (such as your full name) that makes the data personally identifiable to you. "Anonymous Data" means data that is not associated with or linked to your personal information; Anonymous Data does not permit the identification of individual persons. We reserve the right to use and disclose Anonymous Data to third parties for research purposes at our discretion.

Testimonials

We post customer testimonials on our Site, which may contain personally identifiable information. We do obtain the customer's consent via email prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial. If you want your testimonial removed, please contact us at info@naarm.consulting. By submitting a testimonial, you agree to grant Naarm Consulting a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide and perpetual right to the information contained therein, and a right to reproduce and distribute such material, whether written, pictographic, videographic, or otherwise without remuneration.

To Provide Information to Service Providers

We may share your personal information with Service Providers registered with Naarm Consulting that performs certain services on behalf of Consumers. Sharing this information with Service Providers allows them to respond to your Service Request. The information we share is generally the information contained in the Service Request form, including the username (and first name of the Consumer when we have it), the type of service needed, when and where the service should be performed, and a description of the service needed.

To Provide Information to Partner Companies

We may enter into agreements with one or more partner companies pursuant to which apartner company may want to access personally identifiable information that we collect from its customers. As a result, if you register on our Website through a partner company, or if you access our Website, Application or other Naarm Consulting features (such as but not limited to an embedded widget) through a partner company, we may provide your personally identifiable information to the partner company. Because we do not control the privacy practices of our partner company, you should read and understand its privacy policies. 

But we will strive to provide you with a notice when this change occurs, so you should be able to decide how you want your data to be handled at that stage.

To Facilitate Naarm Consulting's Use of Third-Party Services

We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, customer relationship, database storage and management, direct marketing campaigns and user credit card information storage. We will share your personal information such as name, email, and phone number and never your sensitive personal information with these third parties, to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your data. In such cases, you consent to our sharing of your data as is necessary. 

Social Media 

If you wish to, you can also share your Naarm Consulting-education progress on Instagram via the integrated tools we provide via our Services. Please be assured that we do not collect your social media account information in such instances.

However, be informed that you must agree to the terms of use of any Third Party Service, and in no way will the Company be liable for any breach of such terms by the Customer’s connection of Naarm Consulting to a Third Party Service.

To Comply with Laws and Law Enforcement

Naarm Consulting cooperates with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to the government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims, and legal process (including subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Naarm Consulting or a third party, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.

In Connection with Business Transfers

Naarm Consulting may sell, transfer, or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your personally identifiable information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy. 

To promote Naarm Consulting

Naarm Consulting, with your explicit opt-in, and with your explicit preview of a message, may publish a message to Facebook, Instagram or Tik Tok promoting the Website or other Application.

CHANGING OR DELETING INFORMATION

If you are a registered user of the Application, you may access and update or correct the information you provided to us by updating your settings in My Account > Manage Profiles. 

If you wish to delete your account, you must email info@naarm.consulting with your request, which will be acted upon within 21 days.

SECURITY

Naarm Consulting is very concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information. We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorised access. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorised personnel will not gain access to your personal information despite our efforts. You should note that in using the Website or other Application, your information will travel through third-party infrastructures which are not under our control.

CHILDREN

The Applications are not directed to persons under 16. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personally identifiable information without the parent or guardian's consent, they should contact us at info@naarm.consulting

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors under 18. If we become aware that a minor under 18 has provided us with personally identifiable information, we will use reasonable commercial efforts to promptly delete such information from our files.
